Go Godot Game Jam 2 has started. $232 in Prizes
So, I had to run a quick errand outside the city. Now it's two weeks later, and I'm finally back in my home.
I didn't have enough time to finish the already long delayed Q3 mini report, so that'll have to wait until next week. Hell, I'm happy enough just sending this one out.
Go Godot Jam 2: 10 Days, 20 Hours left
Go Godot Jam's events have been going on for two weeks already (you can check the whole list here), but the game jam just started a day ago.
The event already has 795 participants, and the theme is "Energy Source".

Now, in case you're not familiar with GoGodotJam as a whole, this second event is running a fundraiser alongside the events. It already generated some $2,320, and the money will be divided as follows:
- 50% -> The Official Godot Team (Currently $1,160)
- 40% -> The Event Organizers and Content Creators (Currently $928)
- 10% -> The Prize Pool! (Currently $232)
To support the fundraiser you can buy one of the three packs they have on Itch:
- GoGodotJam2's SILVER Goodies Pack - $10.00 USD
- GoGodotJam2's GOLD Goodies Pack - $50.00 USD
- GoGodotJam2's DIAMOND Goodies Pack - $100.00 USD
Or you can buy the official Merch and add a tip to your purchase. Those tips will be split 50% to Godot, 25% to the Event Hosts and 25% to GoGodotJam Organizing

📰 Godot news round-up
💰 $100,000 donation from OP Games
Op Games, an NFTs company (😬), has donated $300,000 to four Open Source projects: Phaser, Defold, Blender, and Godot.
$100K went Godot's way, which is great, regardless of what I think about the company making the donation.
Gamefromscratch published a video talking about the donation and the NFTs business.
Goost 1.1 is here!
Goost, "a general-purpose, extensible and customizable Godot Engine extension" released its version 1.1 some five months after reaching version 1.0

He'll start with redesigning the experience creating UIs in Godot, to remove the confusion on how it all works.
Every game and app made with Godot needs UI at some point, so that'll benefit everyone!
Helms of Fury's Kickstarter campaign reached 106.7% of its original goal
They have USD $12,701 at the time of writing. They still have some 13 hours to go
We did it!! We reached 100% Funded on our kickstarter for Helms of Fury!! Thanks so much for helping us reach this point, we've had so much community support from you all its been incredible.

Juan Liniestsky is looking for Playstation locensed companies
Is your company (or the company you work for) licensed for Playstation and you believe it would be useful for that company now or at some point in the future that Godot is offered as licensed technology to develop for it? If so, please drop me a DM. pic.twitter.com/RHtmy4rXf9
