Issue #53 - Parking Garage Rally Circuit is out

Parking Garage Rally Circuit, hopefully, the next Godot-made indie darling is finally here.

It is still way too early to know how it'll perform, but the reviews that came out a little before the launch are looking good:

Opencritic reviews

Others are coming out as I write this, including the ones from PCgamer and Forbes.

PGRC might be the best arcade racer of 2024–and possibly the most fun you’ll have with any driving game this year. - Forbes

Just under an hour after launch, the game is sitting at 78 concurrent players on Steam charts too. with an 82-peak

PGRC has been making the rounds for a while now, even getting featured on a Second Wind's 'favorite demos from Steam Next Festvideo a few months ago.

The developer, Walaber (Tim Fitzrandolph) has been very open about the whole process of making the game, ever since he made the original version of Ludum Dare 54.

If you're up to watching someone going through the process of working on a commercial project on camera, you can jump to his Twitch archives for dozens of hours of content.

Other Games to keep an eye on:

  • No Gasoline - 3D open world physics game - A road journey game. Build your vehicle with junks. Drive and navigate through an Open-World wasteland.
